At Oxford Medical, we aim to make the order submission and processing experience as simple and efficient as possible for both healthcare providers and patients. Orders can be submitted through an online form, fax, email, or via Parachute—whichever method works best for you.
Once an order is received, it is reviewed by our dedicated Verification and Compliance Team at Oxford Medical. Our knowledgeable staff thoroughly checks all submitted documentation to ensure it meets insurance guidelines and requirements. This includes verifying patient benefits, confirming network participation, and determining whether pre-certification is needed.
If any documentation is missing, Oxford Medical will work directly with the referring healthcare provider to gather the necessary information and ensure all requirements are met for order completion.
If an order cannot be processed—whether due to coverage limits, insurance benefit restrictions, or ineligibility for reimbursement—we will promptly notify the healthcare provider.
We aim to provide order status updates on the same day the order is received. However, in some instances, it may take up to 24 hours to review and issue an update.
For hospital discharge cases, we typically schedule delivery either the day before or the morning of the discharge. To guarantee on-time delivery, orders must be submitted by 1:00 PM the day prior to discharge. For example, for a Tuesday delivery, the order must be received no later than 1:00 PM on Monday. To avoid delays, we strongly encourage submitting discharge orders as early as possible. Orders received after the 1:00 PM deadline may not qualify for next-day delivery.
At Oxford Medical, we collaborate closely with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure a smooth and efficient order process. To avoid delays, we kindly request that all orders be submitted with complete and accurate documentation. Insurance claims cannot be processed if essential paperwork—such as patient diagnosis or treatment plan details—is missing or incomplete.
